About

Marie-Laure Ginet’s painting is spontaneous, energetic, alive. It explores emotions and movement through form, textures and colors, or Monochromes. Her work focuses intensely on lines and brushstroke.

Figurative and freehand, these lines and strokes represent her own expression and are subjective.  Her paintings transform and often tend towards abstract expressionism.

Marie-Laure is drawn to the brushstroke and its power. She’s inspired by street art and graffiti. She’s also impelled by « Art brut »; completely spontaneous and authentic. When we interview her about her work, she says: « for me, painting is an impetus from the inside that I wish to share with the world. »
